Rex: Stella, I heard you and Louise hit Las Vegas last weekend. Was it fun?
Stella: Oh Rex, Vegas was a blast!
Rex: Did you treat yourself to a massage at a spa?
Stella: Sure I did!
Rex: Did Louise?
Stella: No, she was gambling in the casino when I left. I asked if she wanted to come, but she politely said, “no”.
Rex: Did you both shop for discounts at an outlet mall?
Stella: Absolutely I did. I shopped when Louise was trying the slot machines. Again, she said no to my invitation to go.
Rex: Did you see a show?
Stella: Oh yeah! My friend gave me a recommendation for a great one.
Rex: Did Louise like it, too?
Stella: She didn’t go. She was spinning the roulette wheel when the show started at 8:00 sharp.
Rex: Hmmm, both activities sound exciting.
