Street: A road. It can be small, like in a neighborhood or a main road such as Hollywood Boulevard.
Go up: move north on a street. Sometimes, people use this for any direction in conversation.
Go down: move south on a street. Sometimes, people use this for any direction in conversation
Pass: to move by. You can pass a school (on the right or left) as you walk to church.
On the corner: a place that is at a corner of a block or at an intersection of two streets. For example, the church is on the corner at the intersection of 1st Street and Central Avenue.
