Many wh- questions in simple past start with the wh- question word + “did.” The subject follows “did” in these questions.

Many of the common verbs we use have an irregular past tense form. Look at the verbs on the left. The past tense form of the verbs is on the right. Choose the correct past tense form of each verb. The first one is done for you.
