Reading Skill: Making Inferences
Some of the questions below contain inferences based on the passage. Read through the passage once; then follow the steps below.
- Read each question and pick out key words or phrases that will help find the answer.
- Find these key words in the passage.
- Use the context clues around the key words/phrases to determine the answer.


Vocabulary In Context
Use the vocabulary words/phrases from the passage in the sentences below. Make sure you use the correct form of the word in each sentence.
