Hey guys, my name is Pricha and I’m from Bangkok, Thailand. I want to share with you some differences between my country and the U.S

First, Thailand is much smaller than the U.S. but larger than California. California is not as large as Thailand. Bangkok is noisier and more crowded than Los Angeles. About four million people live in Los Angeles, but over eight million people live in Bangkok. Most people think Thais are more relaxed than Americans. People also say that Americans aren’t as friendly as Thais. However, I think people who live in Los Angeles are very similar to Thais.

Have you tasted Thai food? Thai food is spicier than American food. Thais think spicy food is better than mild food. American food is greasier than Thai food. In American restaurants, you also get bigger portions than in Thai restaurants. This means you get a lot of food. I think Thai food is healthier than American food, but I like to eat both kinds of food. I think American food is as delicious as Thai food!

Thailand is much cheaper than the United States, but I like living in Los Angeles. I think it’s more fun than Bangkok. There is a lot to do and see here!

Choose True or False for each statement about the reading passage.
