Screensavers

A screensaver is something seen on your computer screen when the computer isn’t used. It helps protect the screen. People use a favorite photograph or image. Do you have one on yours? If so, what is it? Do you change it? How often?

*Answers will vary.

Recharging your phone

Cell phones are amazing. They let us go almost anywhere and still let us call our family or search the Internet. But sometimes they use a lot of power. How often do you recharge your phone? Do you use anything to recharge while you’re away from your apartment? (write your answers in a notebook).

Example: extra battery, power cord, car charger.

Spill it!

There are two expressions that use the verb “spill.”
spill the beans: to tell a secret
don’t cry over spilled milk: don’t worry about a small past mistake

Do you have anything like these two expressions in your language?
Write them in your notebook.
