What makes E-lingo different?
E-lingo has partnered with Language Systems, a successful English school with over 30 years of experience teaching ESL and test preparation to international students. E-lingo uses proprietary content and lessons designed by teachers and based on years of experience developing courses in response to student needs. In addition to quality courses, E-lingo is also convenient and affordable.
Who are E-lingo teachers?
E-lingo teachers are native speakers of American English. All are university graduates and have experience teaching non-native speakers.
How do I know who will be teaching the course?
E-lingo provides a picture and bio of each teacher on its staff. The bio includes the teacher’s educational and professional background.
What kind of equipment and Internet connection do I need?
high-speed Internet, a headset with microphone, a camera to participate in a live class, a web browser (we recommend using Google Chrome and/or Mozilla Firefox for best performance), Flash player version 11+ recommended. You can use your computer or mobile device as the site is completely mobile friendly. For more details please check this link
Can someone help me if I have technical issues?
If a technical issue cannot be resolved by the teacher in class, an E-lingo professional will contact the student to assess the situation and fix any remaining technical issues.
Can I review my wrong answers?
Yes. E-lingo teachers welcome all questions and requests for feedback! If a student thinks of a question about the lesson after the class has ended, he or she can e-mail the instructor.
Do you give grades or give feedback?
E-lingo gives a progress report that comprehensively assesses the skills covered in class. Teachers will first rate the student progress in each area, such as fluency, pronunciation, or grammar, and then write additional comments with tips and feedback for the student. Progress reports are given on a regular basis, usually at the end of the first week of classes.
Are there practice tests?
There is a practice TOEFL® test available for students upon request.
Can I talk to other students? E-lingo’s online classes are communicative and student-centered. Students are encouraged to talk to other students in the class about the class material or content.

How similar is your course to the real test?
E-lingo has designed its material so that the content will be similar to the test in terms of the level of difficulty and the question types covered on the real TOEFL iBT®. E-lingo’s content for its TOEFL® material was developed by a team of experienced TOEFL® teachers with extensive knowledge on the strategies and skills required for the test.
I took the TOEFL® course on E-lingo but didn’t pass the real TOEFL® test, can I re-take this course?
You are welcome to purchase the course a second time. However, you should examine the parts of the TOEFL® test that lowered your score and focus more on those sections when taking the course again.
I took the TOEFL® course on E-lingo but didn’t pass the real TOEFL® test, can I get a refund?
There are no refunds on E-lingo’s TOEFL® courses. Because the requirements for TOEFL® tests scores differ at various institutions, there is no official passing score on the TOEFL iBT®. There are several factors to consider when achieving a high score on the TOEFL® test. Many of these factors cannot be controlled by an E-lingo teacher and depend mostly on the motivation and diligence of the student. E-lingo teachers are here to supply you with the tools and guidance needed to do well on the TOEFL® test. However, it is up to you to apply those tools in your daily study habits.
Can I see my progress in the course?
Yes, you may view your progress on the dashboard in your account. In addition, you will receive progress reports from your instructor.
I forgot my password, what do I do?
You can reset your password on the main login screen of the course.
Is E-lingo enough to study for the TOEFL®?
Our course covers all the components of the test. However, we recommend using additional material for the best TOEFL® preparation.
What kind of result can I expect after one month of using e-lingo TOEFL® course? After one month of studies in our TOEFL iBT® Preparation program, students can expect newfound familiarity with the structure of the exam and will be less likely to experience severe test anxiety as long as they remember and use the strategies taught in our program. Less test anxiety equates to a higher overall TOEFL® score.
How many integrated and independent speaking and writing practice tests do you have to help me improve?
Our Self-Study TOEFL® Program contains material from 5 complete TOEFL® practice tests. In addition, our strategy lectures for the Speaking and Writing sections of the tests contain numerous examples of both integrated and independent questions. In our Live Tutor Sessions, our instructors use material from additional practice tests to reinforce the lessons in the self-study program. Overall, our entire course utilizes material from at least 12 TOEFL® practice exams.
How do I cancel my course? You can cancel your program at any time, however, certain conditions apply. Please refer to our cancellation and refund policy for more information.
How does the refund policy work?
